Crack test FIA e Controlli non distruttivi
(CND / NDT)

Serie completa bracci, triangoli e tiranti sospensioni anteriori; Serie completa
bracci, triangoli e tiranti sospensioni posteriori;
Serie completa montanti ; Serie completa mozzi, mozzetti trascinatori
(porta Semiassi) e fuselli ruota;
Braccetti sterzo; Scatola dello sterzo completa
(pignone + cremagliera e parti trasmissione del moto);
Piantone sterzo completo; Pedale del freno;
Ruote o flangie ruote in magnesio
+ Tutti gli eventuali ricambi

Tutti i pezzi
(ant/post; sup/inf; ecc..)

FIA structural integrity test and
Non-Destructive Testing (NDT / CND)

We carry out certification of the structural integrity of the suspension; according to the FIA regulations.
This certification is compulsory in all the historic races FIA for sports and formula; and in all the European leagues (type CER, P.MO, VdeV, SuperSport Cup, Le Mans Classic and etc .. )

Of each car are verified: tubular suspension wishbones, light alloy suspension parts, complete steering columns and steering arms, light alloy steering components, light alloy wheels, aluminium alloy tubular chassis, The brake pedal, Magnesium wheels, suspension rockers and linkages, push/pullrods and bellcranks, wheel hubs, suspension uprights, whether cast or fabricated, suspension mounting brackets or plates, brake pedal, brake pedal balance bar, rollhoop welds, etc...

As prescribed; all parts (including spare parts) will be marked in a permanent, immovable and with a unique code and a serial number in order to identify the exact location and number; and will be issued a certificate.

Having performed over the years a number of checks on cars that run we found that all the cars highlight some details cracked and risk breaking.

The pieces on which the Crack Test must be performed are the following:
Complete series of arms, wishbones and front suspension links; Complete series of arms, wishbones and rear suspensions;
Complete series uprights; Complete series hubs, driving hubs
(semi-axle holder) and wheel spindles;
Steering arms; Complete steering box
(pinion + rack and transmission parts);
Complete steering column; Brake pedal;
Magnesium wheels or wheel flanges
+ Any spare parts

All parts
(including spare parts) will be marked, as prescribed, in an indelible and unambiguous manner with a serial number in order to accurately identify the position and number; using a CNC marker with Pryor points micropercussion. The marking is indelible and irremovable if not for mechanical removal. Given the shape of the punch and the micro-force used, the marking does not alter the structural integrity of the piece.
As prescribed by the FIA rules, each piece tested with positive results has
(in addition to those who performed the test) a code divided into 5 parts:
TTTT / NN / CCCC / MM / AA
TTTT - Unique code that identifies the vehicle
(with inside the chassis number)
NN - Univocal and progressive number of the piece, as reported in the certificate
CCCC - FIA code that identifies the piece type and its position in the car
(ant / post; sup / inf; etc.)
MM - Month of test
AA - Year of the test

When all items are successful, a certificate will be issued with the following data:
Brand; Model; Cahssis N.; Year of construction; Category in which the car race; Photo 3/4 front of the car
and the complete list of all the parts tested with: number, code, material and type of test.

We are able to verify the presence of cracks on each particular of a car
to which: crankshafts, connecting rods, pistons, engine blocks, bevel gears, transmission gears.
Of any metallic material: Steel, Cast Iron, Aluminum, Magnesium, Titanium, Bronze, etc. ..

We are also qualified according to ISO 9712 standards EN 473 and ASME SNT-TC1A to perform non-destructive testing in industrial, civilian and military.
